Central Texas Education Funders (CTEF) is a networking organization
dedicated to
improving the effectiveness of the education sector by providing opportunities
for collaborative learning, funding, and advocacy through
ongoing learning sessions and publications. Networking among members has led to
greater understanding of education issues in Central Texas and, in a growing
number of cases, to collaborative funding.
As a member, you will
receive email notifications of upcoming CTEF events and networking
opportunities, and your funding information will be included in the annual Giving Profile.
While CTEF does not require membership dues from its members, we
expect members to:
Make a
meaningful contribution of time and expertise to CTEF each year (e.g., post
articles/join discussions on Google group;
Attend and participate in meetings, plan/host events, etc.);
Participate in
the selection of Steering Committee members;
Provide
updated funding information for the Giving Profile two times per year.
CTEF meetings are held monthly - typically on the third Monday of every other
month - at various locations depending upon which organization is
hosting/planning the meeting. Currently, most members are based in Central Texas, although several
funders from around the state are also members.
As an education funder, we invite you to learn more about the
ways in which we can make informed and coordinated decisions about
funding opportunities and how they can foster change in the community,
both
individually and collaboratively. If you are
interested in learning more about Central Texas Education Funders, or would like to become a member, please contact us.
